a locked car: the Slim Jim, the AJ tool, and the Auto Jiggler.
The Slim
Jim is a flat steel strip that has a notch at the bottom and it slips between

The AJ tool
is used on older cars where the raised lock buttons on the doors. When the
locksmith uses the AJ tool, he feeds the device through space between the
window glass and the door, so as to manipulate the device around the lock
button so it can be pulled up to unlock the door.

key having its own shape that is designed to pick a car lock. Each model of car
requires a different shape so the locksmith can pick the lock, and get into the
car.
